What exactly is included in a balcony clean?
Glass, window and railing cleaning, floor and tile cleaning, and pigeon mess or pest residue removal, all done from inside your apartment. That's the full standard scope, nothing extra added without asking you first.
Do you clean the outside of high floor balconies with rope access?
No. InstaCare's balcony service is carried out from inside your apartment only. We don't offer exterior or rope access cleaning, so if that's what you need, this isn't the right service for that specific job.
Do I need to be home during the clean?
Yes, since our team accesses the balcony through your apartment, someone needs to be present to let us in and out.
How long does a balcony cleaning take?
Most standard balconies take under an hour. Larger balconies or ones with heavier pigeon mess buildup can take a bit longer, we'll give you a time estimate when you book.
Is it safe to remove pigeon droppings (pigeon poop) myself instead?
Dried droppings can carry residue that's unpleasant and unhygienic to handle without the right approach, which is exactly why this is worth getting done properly rather than doing it yourself.
Do you offer balcony deep cleaning?
Yes. For balconies that haven't been cleaned in a while, or have heavier buildup on the glass, railings or tiles, we offer a deep clean covering the same glass, window, railing, floor and pigeon mess scope with extra time spent on stubborn grime and stains. Mention it when you message us so we can quote it correctly.
